Shields Township Budget
Shields Township complies with all state requirements and current applicable Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) guidelines for government accounting. The Township fiscal year is March 1 through February 28.
The Township budget is divided into the following categories: Town Fund (which covers the Supervisor and Assessor functions), Road Fund (Highway Department activities), and General Assistance Fund (for the state-mandated General Assistance Program). The Public Hearing on the budget is scheduled for February 23, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Shields Township offices.
Shields Township Audit Report
